Visitors come to this secluded beach not only for the year-round swimming and sunbathing, but also because of its shelling which is best during winter months. A hiking trail passes through five different natural communities that provide habitat for many species wildlife including shorebirds like plovers or Wilson’s snipes (depending on season). Covered picnic tables are located along these trails so you can enjoy your meal in relative isolation from other people!
